For Sale
Welcome to the portal of second-hand wind turbines for sale from the project area of Windpark Zeewolde. Windpark Zeewolde is essentially a repowering project, where in 2021 83 new large modern turbines were built with the promise to remove 180 older minor turbines by the year 2026.
See below an overview of the older minor turbines which will be removed and therefore will come for sale.

Ownership
- 83% are owned by individual farmers. Most farmers have a single turbine; only a few farmers have 2 or 3 turbines.
- 7% owned by a Dutch maintenance company
- 7% owned by a Pure Energie
- 3% owned by a Eneco
Windpark Zeewolde B.V. (WPZBV) does not own the turbines or have the rights on these turbines. WPZBV is assisting its farmers (who are also the shareholders of WPZBV) with their sales-process.
Timelines
All old turbines will have to be decommissioned at the latest either October 1st, 2026, or December 31st, 2026, depending on the turbine’s contract with WPZBV.
Most likely the turbines will not be decommissioned before February 1st, 2026. From February 1st, 2026, onwards a turbine owner is entitled to be compensated for missed income till the fictive lifetime data of 25 years. An earlier decommissioning than February 1st, 2026, means that the turbine-purchaser will have to compensate the seller from missed WPZBV compensation.
